A visit was made to BİLGİN YAT Shipyard, one of our external stakeholders, by MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association) on 18.11.2025. At the meeting, Production Manager Mr. Hüseyin ÖZ made a presentation on behalf of BİLGİN YAT Shipyard. He provided information and showed us around the field, discussing the yachts currently under construction.
MEDEK Evaluators at the meeting were; Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk VURAL (Team Leader), Dr. Lecturer Melih KEKİK (Evaluator), Assoc. Dr. Volkan ONAR (Evaluator), Student Representative Enes EŞİTMEZ (Student), and on behalf of Altınova Vocational School, Machine and Metal Technologies Department, Welding Technology Program, Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Gökhan TIMAÇ, Vocational School Assistant Director Lecturer Murat ŞAHİN, Vocational School Assistant Director Lecturer Ezgi AKSU KILIÇGEDİK, Lecturer Dr. Özgür DEMİR, and Student Affairs Officer Didem SARITAŞ were present.
