A visit was made to TERSAN Shipyard, one of our external stakeholders, by MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association) on 17.11.2025. In the meeting, which took place in a dinner meeting format, Planning Manager Mr. Şükrü EREN, Quality Management Manager Mr. Sedat POLATTİMUR, R&D Manager Mr. Burak ANIK, and Quality Control Technician Ms. Seda YILMAZ KİRAZCI made presentations on behalf of TERSAN Shipyard. Information was shared regarding their collaborations and projects with Altınova Vocational School and specifically with the Welding Technology Program.
MEDEK Evaluators at the meeting were; Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk VURAL (Team Leader), Dr. Lecturer Melih KEKİK (Evaluator), Assoc. Dr. Volkan ONAR (Evaluator), Student Representative Enes EŞİTMEZ (Student), and on behalf of Altınova Vocational School, Machine and Metal Technologies Department, Welding Technology Program, Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Gökhan TIMAÇ, Vocational School Assistant Director Lecturer Murat ŞAHİN, Vocational School Assistant Director Lecturer Ezgi AKSU KILIÇGEDİK, Lecturer Dr. Özgür DEMİR, and Student Affairs Officer Didem SARITAŞ were present.
After the TERSAN Shipyard officials answered the questions of the Evaluator team, the External Stakeholder meeting was completed with a short site tour.
